My Story

Hello, my name is Tanya.  Thank you for visiting my website!

I created my business as a means to advocate for my values after having spent 20 years in corporate America. Whilst in the Capitalistic Thunderdome, I realized that having and valuing integrity, honesty, authenticity, and a general belief that everything should get better over time, truly had no place in that environment.  It was a dog-eat-dog world, so I was told. And I was expected to "play the game" so that I could get a piece of the pie.  Well, I didn’t.  I survived, but definitely couldn’t say that I thrived.  And my heart broke for the direction we were all headed in.

After a particularly trying 10 years of working at a law office, I walked away.  That’s it, I just quit.  I thought about starting a business so that I could build and work at something that didn’t crush my soul.  I’m a practical person, so I knew that whatever I did had to be useful.  So, I researched, I learned from a Professional Soapmaker, and I crafted and tested recipes that I thought would be the most beneficial to the most people.  I wanted to make soap with an intense focus on high-quality ingredients.  I want my products to be a way to take extra care of your skin.

Additionally, I wanted to create a business that would be a small piece in making at least some part of the world a better place. I have always intuitively counseled friends and acquaintances through challenging times providing different perspectives and rerouting their energy. Furthermore, I have had a strong interest in astrology (and the tarot) for decades. I learned a lot from other astrologers, but ultimately developed my own methods.

I’ve been encouraged by others to share my gifts with more people.  That is what I hope to do here.
